We provide full instruction for both parts of the Theory Test, book the Driving Test to ensure there are no problems and we can cover our commitments; we also have a spare car to cover breakdowns etc.

We try to tailor driving lessons to suit each pupil. All of us learn at different rates, and each of us is unique in the way we interact with the instructor and the car. Driving lessons are built around the ability of each pupil which in turn helps to provide a relaxed and comfortable learning experience.

Godinton School of Motoring is the trading name of the Driving School owned by Derek Goodwin who has been providing driving lessons in Ashford since 1984.

As a driving instructor Derek enjoys a higher than average 1st time pass rate and is able to offer driving instruction to suit all needs.

We are signed up to the DSA Code of Conduct and aim to fulfil our obligations to pupils, both in their learning needs to cover all aspects of driving, and of course in a comprehensive understanding of both parts of the Theory Test.

We try to have an honest open relationship with pupils, encouraging learning in ‘Real World’ situations and to be as helpful as possible in achieving a positive driving test result.

Derek has of course undergone an enhanced CRB check.
